A novella based on the characters from IS LOVE ENOUGH. This is a novella that that takes place after the events of Is Love Enough. I quite enjoyed that book. So, this little story is about Nikki and Danny while it does take place after Jason and Rebekah's book a lot of it is done in flash back.Overall, this is just a snippet of Nikki and Danny's life, but it's a pretty significant one. It's the type of event that makes you think about why and how you got together in the first place. Nikki relays some of those things to Rebekah in conversation and then Danny has some "thinking back" moments. It's nice to find out how they ended up together, but I did have some issues with the current situation. Like the synopsis states, Nikki overhears a conversation and jumps to conclusions, etc... This is something that happens all the time in books that I read and it's something that absolutely drives me insane! You can't just assume things when you overhear something. I can understand when it happens early in a relationship and you are still getting to know the other person, but Nikki and Danny have been together for way to long for this type of juvenile behavior. That's really the only issue I had with the story, I expected there to be a much bigger issue forcing them apart.
I highly recommend reading Is Love Enough first. I really think that you need to know these characters before you will be compelled to feel for them and the situation they are in. Even though they are minor characters in the first book, they are in the story enough that you get to know them quite well. It's not enough to just come in on this book and feel for them right away since the bulk of their character building was done in the first book. In my opinion this isn't a good standalone for this reason alone.
If you read and enjoyed Is Love Enough then I highly recommend picking this one up! I really loved getting to read more about Jason and Rebekah, it was lovely to see where they were at this point in time. I have to say that I still love Jason just as much as I did in the first book!

I haven't read the first book, Is Love Enough. I will admit that was a small fear of mine. I was afraid that some events would have been continuations from the first book. I can honestly say reading the first book is not a requirement. However, you will definitely want to read it after reading this.
Running Towards Love is a sweet romance. Meaning, there aren't intimate bedroom scenes and if there are, the scenes are insinuated, without details being given.
This short story focuses on Nikki and Danny Camarelli, who are the best friends of Jason and Rebekah Taylor from Is Love Enough. I love that throughout the whole book you can feel how much Nikki and Danny love each other, and sense the true friendship both couples have with one and other. While you will figure out what Nikki misheard, it's still great to watch how the characters interact with each other, given the information they were provided.
Running Towards Love is the story of what happens when one person gets the WORST news of their life and then jumps to conclusions about something else. It's a story of why you should never keep secrets and always be willing to speak up for yourself.
I really enjoyed this story.

This book kept me reading until the last page. Since I know the author that makes it more interesting to read.
This was a nice, clean romance story with lovable characters. It was a quick, easy, enjoyable read. This was a great author!
I did not read the forerunner to this book; however, I can say with certainty that you do not have to read the first book in order to fully enjoy this one. Adams brings us a love story that is not only down-to-earth but also very endearing. You can almost immediately relate to the main characters. For me, I could relate to Nikki's urge to run away from something so real, something that was so precious it was almost frightening...particularly to think that something so perfect could be true. That it couldn't come crashing down at any minute. Most women who have been heart broken in the past can relate to Nikki's insecurity in this manner. But in the end, love wins. Sorry for the spoiler, but I think the title says it all. Even so, you'll want to read this book. It gives a very real, authentic look at love and how we have to fight for it in order to preserve it sometimes.
I would definitely recommend Adams' love stories to anyone who loves a good romance out there. You won't be disappointed.
